What a way to start off the day. I decided to try and get this convertible on the road again so I was working on the engine late last night. I left the hood up while charging the battery, well this morning I go out to check on the charger and I hear a noise. The noise was almost like a baby bird screaming and it was coming from somewhere under my car/motor, well turns out it was not a bird but a baby rabbit was being eaten alive "I saw it for a second, but ran and got my gun", but when I got back I could not find the snake anymore because it moved somewhere else under the car. The car is SO LOW as it is that I could not even look under there. All the work last night and I still could not turn on the car so I swallowed my pride and hooked up a tow rop to the rear axle as fast as I could because I knew there was a Snake under there. As soon as I got the rope hooked up I got the truck and put it in Low 1 and yanked that car out as fast as I could and ran to see where it might go IF IT WAS TO COME OUT AT ALL l!!! Well I was ready with my .22 riffle and was Shocked when I saw hold long that sucker was at it was REally moving away from me very fast and was going towards my house.
I love animals and I cant even kill spiders, and maybe this was a good snake to have in the yard to eat the field mice but this guy was too big and I did not want anything happen to my boys who are outside.. that be the dogs "Animal", "Boomer" , and "Munchie" !!
I wont leave this blog on that long because I dont want people to think I do this stuff for fun. I really did feel bad afterwards. Its not his or her fault that they were born a snake its just he slitthered under the wrong house and car.

there was a indian once who found a wounded rattle snake and instead of finishing it off he had compasion on that one snake and figured if he helped this one it would change the relationship between rattlers and men, so he took it home and for months nursed it to health and the snake grew stronger and healthier, one day while doing his chores around the hut the snake drew back and struck the old indian on the thigh, the indian fell to his knees in pain and as the venom was slowly working its way in his body the snake slithered to the old indian, and just as the old man breathed his last air he asked the rattler, why did you bite me? why did you do this to me? i took you while you were dieing and nursed to to health. Why? The snake slithered back and as he was headed to the door he looked back and said,"Because I am a snake"
rob it is a snake. he is a predator, and you as a predator did what is natural, shoot him again
@jay Yeah I did get scared, but I collected myself and even went under the car to attach the tow rope so give me credit.
